Paul Milet vase with blue and white decoration, glazed earthenware, silver mount, 1910s

An elegant collector's vase signed Paul Milet , made around 1910 in the Art Nouveau style. This glazed earthenware vase with blue and white decoration depicts a lakeside landscape typical of Sèvres production, with stylized trees and a house in shades of blue.

The piece is mounted in a superb solid silver (950/1000) setting bearing the Minerva 1st standard hallmark, finely chased with a wavy frieze motif, characteristic of the Art Nouveau aesthetic. The base is marked "PM Sèvres," a mark used by Paul Milet , son of the renowned ceramist Félix Optat Milet, who was active in Sèvres at the beginning of the 20th century.

A rare piece combining artistic ceramics and goldsmithing, ideal for collectors of Sèvres earthenware or lovers of refined objects from the Belle Époque.
