Very good overall condition, with slight irregularities and traces related to the firing and artisanal manufacturing process, which are an integral part of its aesthetic.

Superb stoneware vase signed by the French ceramist Michel Gardelle , made in the 1980s.
With its ovoid shape and bulbous body , it evokes the traditional silhouettes of Japanese ceramics. Its Japanese-inspired decoration is painted with slip, using gestural touches in shades of gray, blue, and ochre, and covered with a satin glaze. The circular opening is slightly irregular.
