Superb vintage glazed stoneware vase made by Claude Dangon, artisan potter in Salins-les-Bains in the Jura, in the 1980s. This vase has a harmonious curved shape, with a flared neck and a glazed decoration with contrasting drips in brown-green and deep red tones, typical of the chromatic research of art potters of this period.
The base is signed "C. Dangon" and stamped "SALINS". An original label "Stoneware Pottery – Claude Dangon – Salins-les-Bains" is also present.
