A ceramic vase signed Accolay , made in the 1950s. This vase, with its simple and balanced form, is typical of the post-war production of this Burgundy-based collective. The Accolay workshops, known for their experimental glazes and refined forms, were part of the French modernist movement and Scandinavian ceramics.
Its dark brown glaze speckled with honey and black tones creates a deep textural effect, while the interior contrasts with a yellowish cream color punctuated with ochre spots .
