Vase in green enameled and gilded glass, made around 1900 by the Harrach factory , established in Bohemia.
Founded in the early 18th century on the estate of Count Alois Raimund von Harrach, the glassworks—known as Neuwelter Hütte , then Graflich Harrach'sche Glasfabrik —established itself as a major player in European artistic glass by the 19th century. Under the direction of Bohdan Kadlec (1884-1900) and then Jan Mallin (until 1913), the factory produced emblematic works of the Art Nouveau period, blending refined design with mastery of enameling and gilding techniques.
This elegantly designed piece features a stylized water lily motif , with gilded stems and leaves rising against a shimmering green enamel background. A beautiful example of the craftsmanship of the Harrach workshops around 1900.
