Very good overall condition, with some irregularities in enameling and small original firing bubbles, slight chip on the spout (see photos).

Glazed stoneware vase signed André Bodin (1928–2020) , made in the 1960s. This two-handled piece features beautiful material work typical of the artist, with a brown and gold pyrite glaze with organic drips, giving the whole a rich texture.
The slender shape, ending in a narrow neck and a small spout, creates a beautiful balance.

André Bodin worked as an independent potter from 1963 to 1989. His workshop was located in La Chapelle-Montlinard , in the Haut-Berry region , part of the commune of Sancergues (18140) , about 40 km from the pottery center of La Borne , a major center of French ceramics. His work is fully in keeping with this tradition of wood-fired stoneware, natural glazes, and sculptural forms, often influenced by exchanges with other potters from La Borne such as Jean and Jacqueline Lerat, Pierre Mestre, and Yves Mohy.
