Antique Japanese cloisonné enamel tray on a bronze base, dating from the late Meiji period (late 19th century) .
This rectangular tray with rounded corners features a finely stylized floral and geometric design, organized around a symmetrical central motif, typical of the Japanese decorative style of the Meiji period.

The surface is entirely covered with delicate cloisonné work, forming a background of engraved scrolls, enhanced with polychrome enamels in shades of turquoise, blue, green, white, and red. The border is decorated with a regular pattern of enameled scales, highlighting the precision of the craftsmanship.

The green enameled reverse shows signs of oxidation and wear consistent with its age, and retains its original protective pads. A beautiful decorative or collectible object for a classic interior or one inspired by Asian art.
