Glass pitcher with metallic luster known as Pandoraglas , work of master glassmaker Maximilian Boudnik for the Josef Knizek glassworks, circa 1900 .
This typically Art Nouveau work features shimmering reflections with coppery, green and violet hues, obtained through a complex reduction technique developed in the Bohemian region.
The neck is adorned with stylized gold motifs, and the curved shape features a handle and spout. Boudnik's work blends elegance and functionality, its style reminiscent of the contemporary decorative research of Loetz or Poschinger.
