Very good overall condition. Slight wear to the gilding and micro-cracking of the enamel due to age. Glossy enamel and intact decoration.

Pair of blue glazed ceramic vases from Tours by Gustave Asch (1856-1911), made in the workshops of Sainte-Radegonde around 1900 .
Each vase features a hand-painted, gilded heraldic design : a crowned swan and a flame-breathing dragon , framed by golden fleurs-de-lis , symbols of elegance and nobility.

The deep blue glaze, typical of the famous "Tours blue," highlights the fine gold details. Gustave Asch's axe monogram is visible under the base.
