Glass paste bottle made by Jean-Michel Operto , master glassmaker based in Biot , dating from the 1990s . This piece reflects the expertise of artistic glassmaking in Biot, between organic forms and the working of the material.
The bottle's body features a glass paste in shades of turquoise, honey, and brown, enlivened by finely scattered gold inlays , creating remarkable effects of depth and light. The whole is completed by a sculptural stopper in translucent glass , with free-form shapes typical of the artist's work.
The bottle is signed at the base “Jean-Michel Operto” .
