Chinese porcelain dish, Famille Rose decoration, 19th century - Qing dynasty

Charming antique fine porcelain bowl from China, decorated in the traditional famille rose (fencai) style, very popular under the Qing dynasties, especially during the reigns of Yongzheng (1723–1735) and Qianlong (1736–1796), and still used in 19th century productions.

This small, circular dish with slightly flared sides features a refined polychrome floral decoration, with hand-painted peonies, foliage, and stylized flowers in shades of pink, green, orange, and turquoise against a milky white background. The fineness of the glaze and the details testifies to the skill of Chinese artisans of that period. The base is marked with a six-character red seal in zhuanshu (seal script), an imitation of imperial seals, typical of pieces produced for commercial purposes in the 19th century.
