Art Deco necklace by Jakob Bengel, a figure of German modernist jewelry, dating from the 1930s. This piece represents the Bauhaus and Art Deco aesthetic with its balanced geometric composition, combining spherical beads of luminous green glass and tubular elements in chromed metal.
The contrast between the colored glass and the silver metal gives the necklace a graphic, elegant and decidedly avant-garde look, typical of Bengel production in Idar-Oberstein.
