Very good overall condition for a 19th century piece of jewelry. Slight signs of wear, oxidation on the fastening system and discreet micro-chips on the stone, without altering the beauty or the solidity of the piece.

A Victorian brooch dating from the second half of the 19th century, set with a superb natural agate in shades of brown, green, and orange. The stone, with its almost landscape-like appearance, is enhanced by a finely crafted and gold-plated metal mount, decorated with chiseled floral motifs.

This brooch reflects the Victorian taste for natural stones and symbolic jewelry. With its antique-style clasp and small bail, it can be worn as either a brooch or a pendant.
