Solid silver brooch signed Kelt Toulhoat , made in the 1950s by the Breton silversmith Pierre Toulhoat (1923–2014) .

This piece is in a modernized Celtic style, dear to Toulhoat, blending medieval inspiration with clean lines. The decoration of chiseled interlacing on an oxidized background evokes traditional Celtic motifs, also characteristic of the creations of Maison Kelt , founded in Quimper to promote Breton craftsmanship.

Regarding Pierre Toulhoat and the Kelt company:
A true Renaissance man, Pierre Toulhoat was a sculptor, painter, stained-glass artist, jeweler, and goldsmith. A graduate of the École nationale des arts décoratifs in Paris, he dedicated his career to reinventing traditional Breton aesthetics through metal, enamel, and glass. His work combines clean lines with Celtic symbolism.
Kelt , established in Quimper in the 1930s, became a leading name in contemporary Breton jewelry. It distributed the creations of Toulhoat and other Breton artisans internationally, blending modernity with Celtic heritage.
