Art Deco brooch by Jakob Bengel , made in the 1930s. It combines chrome metal with a central piece in orange galalith , typical of the modernist creations of the Bengel factory in Idar-Oberstein.
The geometric, understated, and architectural composition illustrates the mechanical and geometric style of the period. The reverse bears the inscription "Fabon Fse Paris 725 Déposé," a French variant linked to the distribution of Bengel models on the Parisian market.
