Good overall condition for its age, with visible wear and minor enamel cracks (see photos). The frame retains its original patina and the clasp is functional.

An antique brooch depicting Saint Fabiola , crafted from polychrome Limoges enamels on copper, mounted in a twisted gilt brass setting. This type of religious jewelry for private devotion was highly prized in the early 20th century , particularly in France and Italy.

The exquisitely delicate enamel depicts the profile of Saint Fabiola, wearing a red veil, against a dark background. The intensity of the colors and the depth of the reds attest to the mastery of the Limoges workshops. The brass mount is crafted with a twisted design, typical of frames from that period.
