Vintage Henry Perichon cuff bracelet in modernist gold-tone metal - 1960s

Vintage cuff bracelet by Henry Perichon, a designer from the 1950s and 60s known for his theatrical jewelry, often featured in haute couture creations by Pierre Cardin and Nina Ricci. This gold-tone metal bracelet has an openwork structure with an abstract and organic design, typical of Perichon's modernist approach, with raised geometric elements evoking a brutalist and sculptural aesthetic.

Henry Perichon, son of a jeweler, worked from 1940 until his death in 1971. He invented neo-medieval, neo-antique, and neo-Byzantine jewelry in a primitive yet subtly refined style. Like Line Vautrin, he favored two materials: gilded metal and talosel (cellulose acetate).

This artist's jewel perfectly embodies Perichon's taste for architectural compositions and dynamic volumes. Thanks to its open shape, it fits snugly on the wrist.
