These cufflinks were made in the 1960s by Pierre Toulhoat. The clean, modernist design of the triskelion, a symbol of movement and balance, perfectly illustrates Toulhoat's unique aesthetic. A rare accessory, especially with the crab hallmark, a testament to its age.

Pierre Toulhoat (1923–2014) , a sculptor, painter, stained-glass artist, jeweler, and goldsmith from Quimper, a graduate of the École nationale des arts décoratifs in Paris, left his mark on 20th-century Breton art. After collaborating with Keraluc and creating jewelry for Kelt , he founded his own workshop in Quimper in 1953. The creator of over a hundred pieces of jewelry, stained-glass windows for numerous Breton churches, and religious silverware, he remains one of the most prolific and original artists of his time.
