Antique Tibetan bowl dating from the late 19th century, carved from natural spinach jade with deep shades of green, punctuated with lighter marbling and mineral inclusions characteristic of the stone.

The bowl is enhanced by a finely crafted silver mount, adorned with Buddhist-inspired decorative elements and traditional motifs applied in relief to the outer wall. These ornaments evoke symbols of protection and spirituality specific to the world of Tibetan Buddhism.

The base is accentuated by a silver band engraved with floral motifs, lending stability and refinement to the whole. This type of object was intended for ritual, votive, or ceremonial use, but could also adorn a domestic altar or a scholar's interior.
