Art Deco ear-handled bowl made around 1920, signed ROBJ Paris and Villeroy & Boch Luxembourg .
This model fits within the geometric and functional aesthetic of the period, with its wing-shaped side handles and glossy cream enamel .

Founded in 1908 by Jean Born , the ROBJ company experienced its real boom under the direction of Lucien Willemetz from 1922.
The latter defined the characteristic style of the brand, surrounded by sculptors, modelers and fire technicians . ROBJ then distinguished itself by its decorative and utilitarian objects in porcelain, earthenware or glass, with cubist and often anthropomorphic forms , between humor and modernist spirit.

Under Willemetz's direction, ROBJ collaborates with prestigious manufacturers, including Villeroy & Boch , to produce innovatively designed tableware.
