Superb round box in solid 925 silver , made in Taxco, Mexico , in the 1980s . This beautiful object features a design on its lid . The lid features a raised motif of the famous Aztec calendar , also known as the Sun Stone , a powerful symbol of Mesoamerican culture. The inside of the lid is also engraved, displaying a harmonious circular pattern .

This precious box is marked on the reverse " T5-79 MEXICO 925 81", a typical signature of Taxco craftsmanship , renowned for its expertise . in goldsmithing. It can be used as a pillbox, miniature jewelry box , or simply as a decorative and collectible object .
