This piece is beautifully crafted, with a richness of veining in the stone with deep green tones, typical of quality malachite, carefully cut and polished to a high gloss.

The simple, architectural form, resting on a small pedestal, embodies the Art Deco aesthetic: balanced volumes, clean lines, and an emphasis on the material. The fitted lid is topped with a knob carved from a single piece of metal.
