Decorative plate in silver-plated enameled metal made by the Los Castillo company, in Taxco, Mexico, in the 1970s.
This piece features a stylized figurative decoration of pre-Columbian inspiration, representing a figure as an offering, treated in a vivid palette of greens, reds, yellows and blacks, typical of the Mexican aesthetic developed by the Castillo workshop.
The cloisonné enamel work, combined with polished silver-plated metal, creates a strong graphic contrast and great visual depth. This plate is designed as a decorative wall or display piece, beautifully reflecting 20th-century Mexican craftsmanship and cultural identity.
