Rare engraved glazed ceramic wall plate signed Francis Crociani, a famous ceramist active in Vallauris in the 1960s. This unique piece is distinguished by its refined decoration of a stylized bird perched on a flowering branch, entirely hand-engraved in the glaze.
The subtle contrast between cream, brown, and gray tones highlights the fine engraving and symmetrical composition. The overall style is both naive and decorative, typical of Crociani's work, while remaining firmly rooted in the tradition of artistic ceramics from Vallauris.
The back of the plate is signed "Enamel Gravé Francis – Unique Piece – Handmade," and includes its original wall hanging system. Ideal for vintage, bohemian, or Mediterranean wall decor.
