An elegant pair of fine Japanese Imari-style porcelain vases from the Meiji period (late 19th - early 20th century). These vases are hand-decorated with traditional Imari colors: iron red, cobalt blue, and gilt, on a milky white ground. The stylized floral motifs and plant scenes are arranged in balanced cartouches around the body of the vases, illustrating the aesthetic refinement typical of Japanese ceramics of this period.

The bases are marked underglaze with a blue floral stamp, typical of late Meiji period productions.
